Dunolly House is a large Victorian mansion with a cottage bunkhouse along side. The magnificent River Tay runs along side the grounds of Dunolly forming a beautiful backdrop to the accommodation.
Thirteen rooms in the main house can sleep a total of 48 and if you combine with the cottage then we can sleep 65 in total. The rooms range from singles to doubles to family to bunk rooms sleeping from 3 to 10. Four of the rooms are en-suite with the rest having large or small communal washing areas. The rooms are spacious, warm and comfortable many with views across the river and beautiful Tay valley towards the surrounding hills and mountains. There is a large drying room.
Dunolly Cottage is a smaller accommodation block within the same one acre grounds as Dunolly House. It can be booked separately from the main building. This stone-built two storey cottage has 2 separate shower areas and 3 accommodation rooms. All rooms are fully carpeted and centrally heated. The interior is pine clad.
We are situated at the west end of Aberfeldy close enough to the village to be handy for the amenities but not to close so that we still have a real feel of the countryside around. Self-catering Hostel is perfectly situated about 40 metres from The River Tay, the ideal base for all of your activities and is also ideally located for lots of Munroe walking / climbing and mountain biking. Accommodation; There are 10 rooms, of which 4 are en-suite, there are two family rooms with a double bed and a set of bunks, the other 8 have 2 single beds, so we can sleep upto 24 people. There is also a drying room facility for residents with de-humidifier and heaters.
Adventurers Escape Eco Bunkhouse and Self-Catering Cottages are right on the route of the Etape Caledonia, next to the Weem Hotel, on the B846.
The facilities include a large drying room with spinner, de-humidifier and heat, a private courtyard to store bikes, a large carpark, a pub/restaurant next door and another 5 minutes walk away. The Eco Bunkhouse can accommodate 22 and the Self-Catering cottages .
The price includes linens and all beds are made prior to arrival.
