On the 10th July at the Etape Events Group follow up meeting Councillor John Kellas explained that on 3rd September 2008 the Enterprise and Infrastructure Committee which he chairs will receive a report on the 2008 Etape Caledonia event from the Economic  Development department. The Enterprise and Infrastructure Committee will then debate the issues and make a decision with regards to the 2009 Etape event.

I certainly believe and hope that the decision allows us to build on the fabulous 2008 Caledonia Etape event. The buzz at the finish this year had to be  experienced, the weather had been perfect, May is a really beautiful time in Highland Perthshire, with the trees and bushes covered in the fresh green growth of spring. You can not beat it!
