Despite the lack of blog entries, I have been cycling over the winter. May be not as often as I would have liked but I have been out.

I have found cycling at night, with good lights and reflective clothing almost safer than during the day time. I feel the vehicles can easily see me on the bike and give me a very wide berth. The other factor is that there are not many cars going around after 7pm at night. On a 16 mile ride I will often see four or five vehicles. May be it is our quiet Highland roads.

I have to say I still find that cycling is good fun and I always intend to get on my bike more often, when I get the chance.
