The information below is to give you an idea of the type of events that take place on the Festival BIG Day:-
Bike Obstacle Course, by Adam Flint from Progression Bikes.
Peachy Keen – make a smoothie or watch tv all powered by bike, plus lots more
Cycling for All – watch and learn about Hand Biking or Race Running, demo bikes for people who find ordinary bikes hard
The Highland Chocolatier Cycle Event - a circular ride of 11 miles with a 'fuel stop' at The Highland Chocolatier - a hot chocolate and one of Iain Burnett's unique chocolate truffles is included in the price. You will be led by Andy Hunter of Storybikes who will tell stories of Urisks, saints, trees and the devil along the way. Expect a chocolate le
gend too! The route will follow quiet roads and an off road path. This path is not suitable for road bikes, but is fine for touring, hybrid and mountain bikes. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult - £3.00 for the ride and story telling.
Cyclo Cross race for kids – the challenge is on to find the fastest round the track. Prizes for all.
Kids Bike Races – races for 1 – 12 year olds of varying types with some silly adult races too. Prizes for all.
Bike Obstacle Course – try out your skills on this fun course.
Bikes to borrow – if you don’t have your own, you can borrow ours
Dr Bike – bring your bike for a check and a fix up.
Bike Powered scaletrix – see how fast you can make your car go using your legs
Funny bikes – some weird and wonderful ones to have a go on
Bike Station – 2nd hand bikes that have been made as good as new for bargain prices (and leave your old one too)
Womens bike event – workshop and guided ride for the girls.
Unicycling – have a go or watch the experts.
Bike Sculptures – make something out of old bike bits
Cycling clown – watch, laugh and have a go if you dare!
Highland Safaris – Gold panning
Storytelling – with a cycling theme
Treasure hunt – with fantastic prizes
Dress up your bike – with a competition for different ages
Face Painting

Food of all sorts to keep the healthy and the not so healthy going

CAR PARKING - Please make sure you park your vehicles in the car parks behind the garage or behing Breadalbane Hotel in the centre of Aberfeldy. Please make sure the roads around Aberfeldy Park are kept free of parked cars - your cooperation would be very much appreciated.
